Couple Photoshoot in Parque do Calhau, Benfica — Isabel & Telmo

Would you believe it if I told you that this lovely couple was hesitant about having a pre-wedding photoshoot? They weren't exactly the type to be comfortable in front of the camera and almost didn't see the point in doing it. But I knew how valuable these sessions could be for getting to know the couple, understanding their dynamics, and capturing some beautiful, candid shots in the process.

So, I convinced them to go for it, and we headed to the stunning Parque do Calhau in Monsanto, right next to the Marqueses da Fronteira palace. It was the perfect day and time of week to avoid any unwanted attention, which was important to us.

Despite their initial reluctance, the couple quickly warmed up to the camera, and by the end of the session, they were completely at ease with me. They even commented that the photoshoot helped them feel more comfortable with me on their wedding day, which made a huge difference in their body language, conversation, and the final images we captured together.
